Come join us for an evening filled with mesmerizing performances at Green Bay High School - Performing Arts Centre. The Kathak Kendra Nrityashala Annual Show promises to showcase the best of this traditional Indian dance through the art of Kathak in Lucknow Gharana. Get ready to be dazzled by the grace and passion of our talented dancers as they take the stage. This in-person event is a celebration of culture and tradition that you won't want to miss!

We will celebrate the legacy of Padmavibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj, through the education 'taleem' we receive from Vidhushi Shrimati Durga Arya (senior disciple of Pt. Birju Maharaj) and Parul Juneja (disciple of Smt. Durga Arya & Founder of Kathak Kendra Nrityashala).

Hindustani music vocalist Roshan Raju will accompany the dancers and take the audience on the journey of Ragas with his mesmerising voice.

Our school focuses on the Lucknow gharana of Kathak dance and is hallmarked by it's smooth graceful movements, precision and delicacy in the style.

The students' performances will consist of 'abhinaya' (expressive dance), the aesthetics of 'mudras' (hand movements) and intricate footwork.
