The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) class develops students with the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This course is 9 hours long and is classroom only. RSO candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of a RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; firearm stoppages and malfunctions, as well as conducting Range Safety briefings which include procedures to follow in case of an emergency.Deposit of $50 is requested with confirmation of your registration with the remaining balance of $75 requested one week prior to class.
