Come join us for the NRA Defensive Pistol event at Yolo Sportsmen's Association! This in-person event is perfect for those looking to enhance their pistol skills in a safe and controlled environment. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting out, this event offers something for everyone. Brush up on your marksmanship, learn new techniques, and practice defensive scenarios with experienced instructors. This objectives based course combines and tests the skills needed to be a responsible CCW holder and defensive shooter. The skills learned and refined include holster draw, reloads, and malfunction clearance all under timed pressure. This is not a beginner course and it is recommend that the student have complete NRA Basis of Pistol Shooting or NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home. 

Each participant must provide a handgun (.9mm or larger), a strongside holster, concealment garment, at least three magazines or speed loaders, magazine pouches or speed loader pouches, and 150 rounds of ammunition.

Fees include all course materials and range fees.
