*Prerequisites: Must be a current NRA Range Safety Officer and have taken Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 2 years.This course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to training and certifying NRA range safety officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
Course includes: standard operating procedures, range inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills through participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam.
