About the Event

Neighborhood Planning Unit G (NPU-G), in partnership with the Northwest Atlanta Pastors & Community Leaders Alliance (NAP-CLA), invites residents, community stakeholders, and members of the public to attend the General Election Candidate Forum: Meet the Candidates on Friday, October 16, 2026.

This nonpartisan community forum will provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from invited candidates seeking local, state, and federal office. Candidates will discuss their qualifications, priorities, and vision for the communities they seek to serve.

The forum will feature candidate opening statements, moderated questions, timed responses, audience-submitted questions, rebuttals/direct follow-ups when permitted by the moderators, and closing statements.

Topics may include public safety, housing affordability, transportation and infrastructure, economic development, and other issues important to NPU-G and Westside Atlanta residents.

Candidate participation is by invitation and subject to confirmation. The forum is being presented for nonpartisan civic and voter engagement purposes. Participation in the event does not constitute an endorsement of any candidate, campaign, political party, or platform by NPU-G or NAP-CLA.

All invited candidates will be provided the same forum rules and participation guidelines.
