Free event open to members & non-members.
Everyone is welcome to our free 2026 Winter Gathering hosted by the Ipswich Branch. Come along for a great day of looking at and talking about Australian Native Plants!
You don’t need to be a member or even a native plants expert to attend. We will have plenty of knowledgeable people on hand to answer your questions.
Time: 9.30 am arrival for a 10am start
Place: Kholo Gardens, 243 Riverside Drive Muirlea.
Bring food to share but tea & coffee will be provided. BYO chair as seating is very limited. There are gas BBQs for anyone interested. Ample parking & toilets.
Guest speaker will be Martin Bennett on the history of the Gardens and the involvement of the late Lloyd Bird and other in its development. Martin will also lead a walk for those interested.
We should finish around 1pm depending on how long the walk goes for.
