The Uniting Church Hall, 247 Tor Street, Wilsonton, Toowoomba.
Directions:
The Uniting Church Hall is located on the corner of North and Tor Streets. There is parking on the corner of North Street and Tor Street with best entry off Tor Street.
Program:
Arrive at Hall at 9.30am for morning tea provided by NPQ Toowoomba.
10.00am A talk by Trish Gardner on plants West of the Range.
🌿West of the Range
Trish Gardner has long been an authority on plants of the Toowoomba Region. She has a long running blog spot about Toowoomba plants and is a part of the Condamine Catchment Group who have put out several publications featuring the local plants. Trish’s talk will highlight some of the more unique/threatened species of the
broader Toowoomba area.
After the talk we will then travel to Peacehaven Botanical Park, 56 Kuhls Road, Highfields, about 16 minutes from the Hall, for BYO lunch and drinks and a tour of the botanic gardens.
Our Spring Quarterly Gathering will be hosted by the Toowoomba Branch.
