HONK!
"A Musical Tale of "The Ugly Duckling"

HONK! TICKET SALES HAVE BEGUN (started a few days now but only now I got a chance to put all the information together for this post and for my calendar)!!!
Join NPAC's production of HONK! The Musical, a heartwarming and humorous adaptation of “The Ugly Duckling” that will delight audiences of all ages.
Follow the journey of Ugly, a duckling who looks different from his siblings, as he embarks on an adventure of self-discovery and acceptance.
With catchy songs, lovable characters, and a powerful message about embracing individuality and celebrating diversity, HONK! is a joyful celebration of what makes each of us unique.
Whether you’re young or young at heart, this award-winning musical is sure to leave you inspired and entertained!
WHEN:

Here is the following dates:
November 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd at 7 pm
November 17th and 24th at 2 pm
Don’t miss out as this production is playing for only 2 (two ✌️) weekends so again:
Fridays, November 15th & the 22nd at 7 pm
Saturdays, November 16th & the 23rd also from 7 pm
and
Sundays, November 17th & 24th starting at 2 pm
WHERE:
All performances will be at the Nānākuli High & Intermediate School’s (NHIS) Multi-Purpose Building (Building U: Kitchen Serving & Dining Area... Cafeteria)

DIRECTIONS:
Turn up Nānākuli Avenue, drive past Nānākuli Elementary School (NES) and you will all pass the NHIS football stadium and turn left into the school’s campus. Drive to the STOP ⛔ sign and turn right. Follow the road around the softball field to the multi-purpose building and park in the parking lot between the venue and the gym on the right side.
WHO:
Students from several different DOE public & also Charter Schools. Ranging from Elementary to High School students. Some on stage and some behind the scenes but all very essential to the program.
Adults from alumni, staff and parents to all in-between... We humbly come together as one ‘ohana to help make everything flow and be amazing for us all!!!
WHY:
Please support our program and all those who has a hand in this as they all work so very hard in all that they do and it is not easy. Late-night rehearsals, memorizing all their lines and just having passion for all that they do and put into their performances.
Recognizing the positive things that comes from our community and encouraging our future generations to come and possibly grace this stage soon also.

OPPORTUNITY TO CREDIT A SPECIFIC STUDENT’S ACCOUNT:
NOTE HOW TO CREDIT OUR CHILD/RENS’ (Liana “Lia” & Nolen Kekawa’s) ACCOUNTS FOR TICKET SALES AS THERE IS A NEW PROCESS… mahalo!!!
There is a change in how to credit a child/student performer for every ticket sold.
Instead of checking off names listed, customers will be asked to fill in the name of the student/s (in our Kekawa famILY’s case it is Liana “Lia” &/or Nolen III) who should receive credit for the sale/s OR if you know anyone else besides our kids please put their name.
These funds are used for them if they want to participate in activities such as educational yet memorable trip/s (Lia will be going to New York in 2025 with NPAC… this would help her offset this cost for sure), attend events such as their banquets that they have so much fun with one another at, and other such things plus any amount left in when they graduate from HS will go towards their furthering their education such as college. FYI at this moment Lia plans on attending college in New York (Lord please help me to be able to let her go but also please watch over her always!!).
Dear famILY, friends and loved ❤️ ones. Please put one of our children’s names (Lia/Liana or Nolen) in the box so that they can receive $2 credit for every ticket they sell. We greatly appreciate it and all of you!!!
Come and support our children (Lia NHIS 8th grade & Nolen III NPono 5th grade or anyone that you know in NPAC), all students participating and all those who has a hand in helping with this HONK! production, GO HONK!!!
I tagged many loved ones here on FaceBook... I realize that many may no longer live near but please help if you can… I also know that many of you have students that you know in NPAC… please support any of them that you chose.
You can support us by either purchasing a ticket and joining us in the experience (most desired outcome), you could also purchase a ticket and if you can’t make it here physically you could donate your purchase towards our program and/or also crediting $2 towards our children’s account, plus you can help us pray over us all or you can just help to SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this information for all to see and possibly join us!!! Please know that in all ways we are grateful!!!
