Noé Tavelli Double Drums 4tet ft. Eric McPherson at Donau115

Noé Tavelli Double Drums Quartet live at Donau115
Ohad Talmor - tenor & soprano saxophones, synths · Fabien Iannone - double bass, synths · Eric McPherson - drums · Noé Tavelli - drums
Noé Tavelli Double Drums Quartet's forward-thinking music blends acoustic and electronic treatments. Drawing its inspiration from the improvised sound of modern jazz and the tradition of sacred cuban batas drums, it creates a universe in which each of the four voices are in constant dialogue.
« A combination of two major figures from the New York scene and two Swiss talents, of acoustic and electronic instruments, of jazz and bembé traditions, of composition and improvisation. » (Michael Roelli, Jazz au Peuple festival, CH)
