Os Novos Londrinos são uma banda londrina cujo nome presta homenagem à lendária banda brasileira que os inspira. Bebendo da música de Marcos Valle, Elis Regina, Gilberto Gil, Hermeto Pascoal e de artistas contemporâneos como Bala Desejo, tecem tradições brasileiras com jazz, folk e psicodelia para criar um som que respeita as raízes mas as reimagina.

O seu EP de estreia - gravado no lendário estudio inglês Abbey Road - são seis canções que dançam entre a leveza do ritmos e o peso das emoções, numa viagem entre o que se deixa para trás e o que ainda está por descobrir.

A 18 de julho apresentam-no ao vivo em solo português pela primeira vez, no Porto.

About the event

Novos Londrinos are a London-based band whose name nods to the legendary Brazilian band that inspired them. Drawing on the music of Marcos Valle, Elis Regina, Gilberto Gil, Hermeto Pascoal and contemporary artists like Bala Desejo, they weave Brazilian traditions with jazz, folk and psychedelic music to create a sound that honours its roots while reimagining them.

Their debut EP - recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios - is made of six songs between the lightness of rhythm and the weight of feeling, a journey between what is left behind and what is still to be discovered.

They bring it to Portuguese soil for the first time on 18 July in Porto.
