Join us for the Novena of Preparation for the Immaculate Conception! We welcome a special guest preacher each day to give us a meditation on a mystery from the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary.Today's preacher is Father Richard Cipolla, former pastor of Saint Mary's Parish (Norwalk). He will celebrate Solemn Mass for the First Sunday of Advent; the homily will be a meditation on "The Visitation." After Mass, there will be the daily Novena prayer and the Novena hymn "Tota pulchra es."
Following the ceremony, there will be a coffee hour in the church hall. Our pastor, Canon Altiere, will also be celebrating name day of his patron saint (Saint Francis Xavier). Feel free to bring snacks to share if you would like, for this potluck reception.
Confessions begin at 9:45 a.m.
