Join us at the Madison Circus Space for a month of swing dancing instruction!6:30-7:45PM: Intro to Lindy Hop A
PREREQUISITE: None
Location: Lower Studio
Instructor: Sadie and Andrea
Cost: $40
Come learn to swing dance with us! We’ll show you basic Lindy Hop moves and rhythms to get you social dancing. Lindy Hop A focuses on 6-count rhythms and moves, along with fundamental Lindy Hop technique and style.
No partner or experience required.
8:00-9:00PM: Intro to Charleston
PREREQUISITE: None (Lindy A and B preferred)
Location: Lower Studio
Instructor: Sarah, Katie, and Ian
Cost: $40
A popular dance for contending with fast music, the Charleston is a blast to do once you learn the basics. Come and dance with us as we introduce you to the footwork and the techniques to let your Charleston shine – and don’t be afraid to get warm doing it!
The class will run for 4 weeks on November 7th, 14th, 21st, and December 5th. NO CLASS on November 28th!
