Step into an evening where stories dance with starlight, and imagination takes center stage. This November, we’re inviting you into the world of Peter Pan for a night of “Storytime with Wendy Darling.” Picture yourself in a cozy nursery, the gentle glow of the moon spilling through a big, dreamy window. We’ll set up a bed, plush pillows, and a touch of whimsy—perfect for an evening of nostalgia, adventure, and pure magic. Dress as the Darling children if you’d like, and settle in for tales that whisk us off to faraway places!

Feel the spark of inspiration? Step into the spotlight on our intimate, moonlit Sloop Stage, where all forms of expression are welcome—poetry, music, dance, spoken word, or a personal tale of your own. Although you’re welcome to bring any narrative-driven art, we hope you’ll embrace our November spirit with fantastical, adventure-filled themes. Each storyteller has 7 magical minutes to captivate our audience and bring the nursery to life. Sign-ups happen the day of the show in two rounds, with a 15-minute intermission to sip, snack, and stargaze.

Theme
There’s no required theme, but we encourage you to embrace the nursery magic of Wendy Darling's storytelling for this month’s gathering. Spin tales of wonder, adventure, and fantasy, letting your muse lead you to the stars and beyond.

Audience Engagement
At the end of the night, one storyteller will be recognized—not for being "the best," but for sharing a piece that resonated most deeply with our audience. This audience favorite will receive a special award from our sponsor, Mariah Fralick from Bell, Book & Candle (@bellbookandcandleslc).
