As many of you are aware, Pratidhwani's Drama wing meets periodically to read a play. This is not a performance. It is an opportunity for actors (and other theatre enthusiasts) to meet, read a play and discuss it. We've read brand new plays, and well established plays. We've talked about strengths and weaknesses of characters, plots, story lines and anything else that comes to mind.
Our November 2025 edition will feature Girish Karnad's 'Bali - A Sacrifice". We'll read the English version of this play.
We'll discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the play, the plot, the characters, and as always discuss if Pratidhwani could produce it here in the Seattle area in the future. Actors/readers and listeners are all invited!
