Join us every First Friday from 5–7 pm for a fun evening of art and fellowship at the Anne Lloyd Gallery. The gallery is free and open to the public—come and go as you please, or stay as long as you like. Enjoy complimentary beverages and light bites as you browse the exhibits. At 6 pm, the artist will give a presentation in the Anne Lloyd Gallery.
A statement from the artist:
The works in this show are drawings, made with black watercolor on paper. For me, drawing is about transparency, the most direct route from an idea to the paper.... The drawings are inspired by chance encounters with objects, spaces, or events that trigger moments of clarity, where they suddenly appear to be intensely strange, or intensely beautiful.
