It’s Giving Month, Silver Saddle! 🌟

❤️ NOVEMBER COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: STOCK THE PANTRY!
One of the best parts of 4-H is learning that making a difference starts right here in our own community!
This month, we’re collecting non-perishable food items to help stock community pantries throughout Denton County.
We’re asking every Silver Saddle family to bring 3–5 non-perishable food items to donate. A few extra cans or boxes from each family can add up to a BIG difference for local families who need a helping hand!
Some ideas of items to bring:
🥫 Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, peas)
🥫 Canned fruit and applesauce
🥫 Canned soups, chili and stews
🥫 Canned chicken or tuna
🥜 Peanut butter and jelly
🍝 Pasta, rice and boxed macaroni & cheese
🥣 Cereal and oatmeal
🥫 Pasta sauce
🥞 Pancake mix and syrup
🫘 Canned beans
🥛 Shelf-stable milk
🍎 Granola bars and individually packaged snacks
Please choose shelf-stable items that haven’t expired and are easy to store and prepare.
Let’s show our community what Silver Saddle is all about — service, leadership, and taking care of our community!
