November Canvas & Coronas

Gallery 86 is the largest art institution in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, TX. The Gallery hosts what it calls fun art and fine art classes. Canvas & Coronas is the premier class in the fun art series that focuses on painting for fun. We invite attendees to bring their own beer and wine to enjoy while learning to paint a sugar skull this month! While we don't provide any beer or wine ourselves, we do provide tempera paints of all colors, 16 x 20 in. canvases, as well as paint brushes and easels. During the class, a lead instructor will walk participants through all of the steps necessary to make their painting. Instructions are presented in a simplified manner to make the class easy to follow, and an assistant instructor will be available to help participants tackle any challenging segments. At the end of the class, students can take a picture with their work and take it home! Socializing is a big part of the fun, so please invite your friends!
