Join us for our last Blues Intensive of the year, a series of workshops designed to challenge, inspire, and connect dancers of all levels.This month we will be focusing on Texas Shuffle — a Blues idiom not from Texas...
During a period of migration in the USA, Texan Blues musicians moved to California, bringing along their music, Texas Shuffle is said to be the dance that local Californians dance to their music.
This dance is characterised by the shuffling movement in the feet and a playfulness between the partnership.
Whether you're brand new to Blues dance or a seasoned mover, this workshop has something for everyone.

Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2.5 hour workshop + 30 minute practice)
Location: South Brisbane Sailing Club, 68 Hill End Terrace, West End
Cost: $50
Recommended footwear: shoes that slide easily
No partner required. All levels welcome.
