November Bed Stuy Art, Culture, and History Walk

Celebrate Bed-Stuy’s soul through art, history, and collective imagination.

On Saturday, October 18th, from 2–4 PM, join GrowHouse, Friends of Jackie Robinson Park Playground, Bed Stuy Forever, and the Project for Public Spaces team for an Art, History + Culture Walk - a guided experience highlighting the people and places that define Bed-Stuy’s spirit.

This year’s walk takes place during the 47th Annual Brownstoners Tour, which spotlights Bed-Stuy’s historic homes, churches, and cultural landmarks. As the tour opens doors to the neighborhood’s architectural legacy, we’ll be walking, listening, and co-creating in the streets - uplifting the living culture that makes this community thrive.

You’ll also have the chance to help shape GrowHouse’s SBS Lighting Project, an interactive public art initiative that will illuminate stories along Malcolm X Boulevard and beyond.
