The FAST OC Basic Pistol Course is a comprehensive 8 hour basic handgun course. The academic portion of this course is taught in our comfortable classroom facility where we provide bottled water, coffee and snacks. During this course we will cover semi-automatic handguns and revolvers, with opportunities to handle and fire both. If you have your own firearm you would like to practice with and learn about, feel free to bring it!We will also cover ammunition, storage laws, shooting sports, and cleaning. 22 LR & 9mm for the practice firearms and range time is included in the course fee. This is primarily a marksmanship course, working on taking your first shots and building good fundamentals in regards to firearm handling and safety.
We will also help you select your first or next firearm by trying out different guns and helping you discover what to look for.
