PRESENTER: Nuno Silva, PhD
BIO: Nuno Silva, PhD, is the National Sales Manager for Adiabatic Systems at Condair North America and a specialist in humidification, evaporative cooling, and sustainable HVAC solutions. With over a decade of industry experience, he holds a dual PhD in Building Science from the Technical University of Denmark and the National University of Singapore, as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked across Europe, Asia, and North America, helping organizations implement innovative humidity and cooling solutions. His expertise spans data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, museums, pharmaceuticals, and other critical environments where precise environmental control is essential.
DESCRIPTION: This presentation explores how hybrid adiabatic humidifiers combine the energy efficiency of evaporative humidification with the reliability and hygiene required in modern HVAC applications.
