Swing Era Steps is offering two levels of classes and an open practice!6:30-7:45pm - Deep Dive: Musicality
Building Blocks level
Lindy hop is about the connection with your partner and your connection with the music! If you feel confident in your dancing skills but struggle to connect to the music, this class is for you! We'll discuss jazz theory, interpreting and anticipating the music, and ways to embody that in your dancing to find the harmony in expressing what you hear with your partner.
*The Building Blocks track is for those who have been dancing lindy hop for at least four months.

7:45-9:00pm - Foundations A
This is where you begin! This Foundations session will cover the core moves of lindy hop and get you on the dance floor. In the later weeks, we'll dig into some fun variations of the moves you've learned.
The Foundations level is perfect for you if:
- you’re brand new to lindy hop.
- you’ve done other types of swing dancing.
- you want to review the foundational patterns and concepts of the dance.
(If you're unsure where to start, the Foundations level is always a good option. Even if you've been dancing for a while, we guarantee you'll learn something new!)

9:00-9:30pm - Open Practice
This is time to practice the skills you just learned! Our instructors will be there to answer questions and help you smooth out sticky points.
Our goal? Help you become the best lindy hopper you can be while also having a ton of fun
