About this Event
Emma Kirkby brings her renowned Dowland Project to Garrick's Temple to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the composer's death.
By lending her longstanding celebrity and expertise to attract audiences, this project gives a platform to younger musicians to explore and perform the wonderful English repertoire of lute songs.

Anna Salmon - Voice
Fabian Tindale Geere - Voice
Sam Brown - Lute
Jacob Wells-Luttrell - Lute
Booking in advance is cheaper [£20; £10] and also advisable as the venue is small. Admission on the door [£22] is possible too; anyone able and willing to listen is welcome, whether or not they are familiar with the programme.
The performers will introduce the music and their instruments, and refreshments will be served during the interval.
The painting is A Concert, made in Venice in the 1520s, and is reproduced by kind permission of The National Gallery.
