UT alumna Kelsey McKinney (Plan II class of 2014) will return to Austin to read from her debut novel, God Spare the Girls, in the Joynes Reading Room on Thursday, October 28th at 7 p.m. McKinney worked as a staff writer at Vox, Fusion and Deadspin before co-founding Defector Media. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, GQ, Cosmopolitan, New York magazine and elsewhere.
