Nova Scotia’s offshore wind opportunity is significant. Not just 5 GW under lease by 2030, but billions in investment, new clean-tech jobs, and the potential to deliver carbon-free electricity to meet rising clean energy demands. Getting leases awarded is an important milestone, but the real goal is projects in operation. That’s where focused, applied R&D plays a critical role.

The is a full-day gathering of innovators, researchers, investors, and decision-makers, convened by Net Zero Atlantic to align research efforts with the urgent needs of industry and government.

As Nova Scotia prepares for its first offshore wind call for bids in 2025, this Forum provides an opportunity to take stock of progress and define what’s needed next.
