You are invited to join for this Restoration Event in the Haliburton Farm Biodiversity area - the wetland and meadow need your love on Saturday, Nov 2 from 10am-12pm with snack potluck party after.We will be cleaning mason bee cocoons in the basement if you would like to learn how this process is done, Jemma and Paige will demonstrate. There will also be the option of working on raking/invasive removal in the meadow. At 12pm we will share a potluck snack party in the farmhouse. Bring a snack to share if you like!
This event will provide all training and tools, including gloves. No experience necessary - family friendly and everyone welcome. Snacks provided or bring some to share if you want, and we look forward to seeing you all!
Parking: parallel parking along the lane is best, or come by bike/bus or walk if you can.
Meeting: Meet outside beside the farmstand at 10am and we will divide up for different tasks.
