Join us for a post-screening discussion with Ericka Knudson, author of "Nouvelle Femmes: Modern Women of the French New Wave and Their Enduring Contribution to Cinema," moderated by Barbara Bouquegneau, President and Executive Director of French Library. Knudson will sign books after the screening. Academy Award® nominee Richard Linklater’s love letter to the spellbinding magic of French cinema reimagines the making of Jean-Luc Godard’s revolutionary French New Wave classic BREATHLESS. About Ericka Knudson:
Ericka Knudson holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies from the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre with a specialization in French New Wave cinema. She is a Visiting Lecturer in the World Languages and Cultures Department at Northeastern University and has taught film courses at Harvard University, Stanford Continuing Studies and Université Paris Descartes. She has published numerous articles on French cinema, co-authored a book on world film, and a documentary on the French New Wave for the University of Rome.
