About this Event
When we think about diet, most people understandably focus on weight loss, fitness, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and longevity. However, growing evidence shows that what we eat affects more than just our physical health, it profoundly influences our mental well-being. Recent research links nutrition to conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, sleep disorders, dementia, and more.
Are you or someone you love struggling with stress, anxiety, or low mood? Join us for “Nourish to Flourish,” a powerful, evidence-based presentation exploring how food choices affect mental health—and how changing our lifestyle and the foods we eat can nourish your brain and boost your mood.
Key Takeaways:
- Learn how plant-based eating supports mental clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.
- Understand the science behind how soda and ultra-processed foods are linked to increased rates of depression and anxiety.
- Break free from the feel-bad, eat-bad cycle by discovering how to replace comfort foods with healing foods.
- See a Food for Life cooking demonstration and sample some delicious plant-based foods.
- Leave with practical tips, easy recipes, and motivation to transform your plate—and your mindset.
