Nottingham Refugee Week Launch Party 2026

Come and celebrate with us at Nottingham Refugee Forum as we kick off Nottingham Refugee Week with a party for all communities and all generations, celebrating this year’s theme of courage.

Meet the local organisations supporting refugees, enjoy performances from Nottingham artists, get stuck into activities and workshops, try delicious food from our Café Narjis catering team and wander through our community garden.

Free for members of the refugee community and for children.
Everyone else is invited to donate either £5 or £10 - all donations go straight to supporting future community events with refugees and people seeking asylum.

Stalls from: local organisations and charities.
Performances include: a mix of artists, including poetry.
Workshops from: a calmer moment in the garden with Bahia Yoga for stretching and meditation and many more.
