David Featherstone, Senior Ecologist, Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, will be presenting on the NVCA watershed health checks which are issued every five years to communicate the condition of our watercourses, forests, wetlands and groundwater. He will focus on the Middle Nottawasaga sub watershed, which includes Bear Creek & the Bear Creek wetland. He will also discuss invasive species.David has been the Manager/Senior Ecologist of the Watershed Science Program at the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority for almost 20 years and has been an ecologist in the private and public sectors for more than 30 years. Outside of work, he volunteers as a Director with the Friends of Minesing Wetlands.
