Please join us on Thursday, February 19 for an evening with Pete Sampson discussing Notre Dame football. This is the fourth time our club has been fortunate to host Pete and, more than ever after this offseason, there will be a LOT to talk about!
Pete, currently a staff writer for The Athletic on the Notre Dame football beat, has covered the program for the past 25 seasons. The former editor and co-founder of Irish Illustrated, Pete has covered six different regimes in South Bend, reporting on the Fighting Irish from the end of the Bob Davie years through the start of the Marcus Freeman era. Pete is one of the most plugged-in journalists when it comes to all things Notre Dame, and is also a lively speaker as listeners of his three very popular podcasts "The Shamrock," "The Independent," and "Irish Illustrated Insider" can attest. It will be a very enjoyable evening discussing the Irish!
Join us in the private back room of Mudville Grille (3105 Beach Blvd) from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. for heavy hors d'oeuvres and a social hour with Pete. The event itself will kick off at 7 p.m. and will include a brief overview of the state of Irish football from Pete and then primarily allow you time to ask Pete all the questions you are dying to know about Notre Dame.
There will be a cash bar available throughout the evening.
