PLEASE NOTE THAT, FROM NOW ON, THE UNIVERSITY ARMS WILL BE CLOSING AT 10PM ON MONDAYS. AS A RESULT OF THIS THE MUSIC WILL START AT 7:45 – ON THE DOT. THE MUSIC WILL FINISH AT AROUND 9:30. THERE WILL BE (AT LEAST) 2 SETS OF BETWEEN 30 AND 45 MINUTES AS USUAL.

Jabaw is a free improvisation outfit featuring eclectic, hybrid instrumentation and vocalisation, creating an organic mash-up veering from delicate abstraction through insistent sonic curiosity to insistent rhythmic material.

Much like the Wigan chip shop staple challenges the very concept of gravy, Peawet prods at the boundary of music. The trio experiments with a variety of poorly-played instruments and electronics to create a chaotic wall of noise.
