Back by popular demand, the Surabhi Ensemble combines Mexican and Spanish music traditions along with Indian rhythms, bringing together dance forms such as flamenco, Mexican folk dance, and Indian percussion for an unforgettable afternoon. Having recently completed an international tour with a showcase concert hosted by the Prince of Gujarat, this ensemble returns to Highland Park with a brand new work featuring artistic lanterns, dancing, and exciting new music that originally debuted in Vietnam earlier this year.This event will be held at Elm Place Middle School Auditorium, 2031 Sheridan Road, Highland Park.
The Note for Note Concert Series is funded by a grant from the Highland Park Community Foundation.
