On July 26 , the folks from Not Loud Concerts present Summer Sessions - Blues Night! This festival is part of the Not Loud Concert Summer Series - a set of concerts designed to be Not too long, Not too expensive, and of course, Not too loud.
Designed with the audience's comfort in mind, this short festival will be held in the giant courtyard behind Gilman Brewing. There will be 2 bands on stage at the same time dueling it out and trading songs.
The concert will feature Dirty Cello, a world-traveling, high-energy blues band.
They'll be paired with Delta Wires, an exciting harmonica and horns blues powerhouse.
Bring a chair or sit in one of the ones provided or get up and dance under the stars, to all your favorite blues songs at Blues Night. Gilman Brewing will be offering beer and pizza.

Dirty Cello:
From Iceland to Italy, and all over the U.S., San Francisco-based band Dirty Cello brings the world a high energy and unique spin on blues, rock, and Americana. With wild vocals, and world class cello playing, the group is led by vivacious cross-over cellist, Rebecca Roudman. Dirty Cello is cello like you’ve never heard before. From down home blues and rock with a wailing cello to virtuosic stompin’ Americana, Dirty Cello is a band that gets your heart thumping and your toes tapping!
"Dirty Cello’s music is all over the map: funky, carnival, romantic, sexy, tangled, electric, fiercely rhythmic, and textured, and only occasionally classical." Oakland Magazine
"The band plays every style imaginable, and does some fantastic covers. (Their rendition of “Purple Haze” is incredible.) But what is most spectacular about them is hearing the depth of soul in Roudman’s playing—it goes beyond what most people would expect from the instrument. She plays it with so much heart, you’ll wonder why more bands don’t have a cellist." Good Times Santa Cruz
Delta Wires:
Delta Wires is a rockin’, high-energy harmonica and horns blues band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Long-time crowd-pleasers, they were voted “BEST LIVE BAND” by Oakland Magazine and the East Bay Express, Inductees to the California Blues Hall of Fame, and finalists in the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN, they have recorded 8 albums and performed twice at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy (most recently in July 2025), San Francisco Blues Festival, Russian River Blues Festival, and many others. They will headline the inaugural Montone Blues Festival in Umbria, Italy in June 2026.
The Delta Wires have shared the stage with many noted artists including Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, The Neville Bros, Dr. John, The Doobie Brothers, Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, John Mayall, Charlie Musselwhite, Boz Scaggs, Bad Company, The James Gang, Elvin Bishop, and numerous others.
What are Not Loud Concerts?
Not Loud Concerts was inspired by numerous jokes on the internet about wanting to go see a concert that was, “Not too loud, not too late, not too long, and not too expensive.”
With this idea in mind, Not Loud Concerts was created to showcase music based on the following principles:
- Not too loud
- Comfortable seating
- No crazy ticket prices
- Good parking whenever possible
- Not too long
These concerts are created for the enjoyment of the audience and are not based on old traditions.
