Not From Here, Either was built for one reason: DFW is full of people who relocated here and never quite found their people. Volume One proved it: a room full of strangers who left as something else. This is VolumeTwo.
What the night looks like:
Games designed to get past small talk fast. Real conversation, not networking-event chit-chat. And goodie bags.
This isn't a mixer.
Mixers are polite and forgettable. This is a room where "where are you from" isn't a conversation starter... it's the whole point. You're not the only one who moved here and felt like an outsider for the first six months or maybe even six years. You're not the only one still looking for a group chat that actually texts back. Everyone in this room gets it, because everyone in this room lived it.
What to expect leaving:
Not a stack of business cards. New numbers in your phone you'll actually use. A next event you're already counting down to. And proof that "not from here" was never a limitation, it's the thing that made you one of us in the first place.
