Rock’s Second Generation: Pop, Surf and Soul - 1960sWe’ll remember the great pop sensations, the one-hit wonders and the sounds that stretched across the pond and influenced a whole new wave of British rockers who made their way to the USA.Groups like The Beatles, The Four Tops, the “girl groups” and Motown. We’ll spotlight the great soul singers and songs that defined the second wave of rock.
