Nostalgia

Two decades ago, in the aftermath of the tsunami, two musicians from the UK—Judith Sheridan and Dr. Sunil Paulraj (a neonatologist)—traveled to India to help those affected. What began as an act of service soon grew into a global movement of music: Toccata. Today, with over 100 musicians, Toccata brings together some of the finest voices from across the world, accompanied by a professional band and orchestra. Many of its performers have starred in leading roles on London’s West End and collaborated with renowned artists including Dan Seals, Rossi, the Kenyan Boys Choir, the Dutch Nightingales, Elton John, and India’s own Maestro Rajaa.

In August 2026, Toccata will perform in Bangalore, hosted by Bishop Cotton Boys’ School. The concert, titled Nostalgia, is a two-hour production featuring music from legends such as Elvis, ABBA, Queen, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Kenny Rogers, and more. Headlining performers include Mark Tilley (The Phantom of the Opera), Tara and Trish Macaden (Disney), country star Sheridan Brass, Emma Jane McKnight, Emma Nugent, and Callum from the UK. Backed by a powerful chorus of 70 voices from Codetta, NBYC, Omagh, and Toccata, the show will be conducted by Colin Scott and produced by Dr. Sunil Paulraj.
