Norwich city centre will come alive with festive cheer on Thursday 20 November as the annual Festive Lights Switch-On returns.This year’s switch-on moment will be led by Joe Tracini, star of the Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime, Cinderella, joined by fellow cast members in a joyful celebration of local talent and community spirit.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store:
Triple Threat Stage School – A lively medley of songs with a K-Pop twist from these talented young performers
Darby and Danny – A soulful set from this brilliant local singer
ARTS School – Returning in triumph after winning this year’s Lord Mayor’s Procession
Norfolk African Choir - Uplifting harmonies and vibrant rhythms to warm the winter night
The Norwich Grinch – Expect cheeky antics from this mischievous local legend
Father Christmas – Making a special appearance to spread festive joy
Snowball Fight – Guaranteed giggles and snowy fun for all ages
Representatives from local faith communities – Sharing messages of peace, unity and goodwill
Norwich BID’s Canopy of Light will be making a welcome return to Hay Hill, with visitors able to enjoy an illuminated DJ set from Damien Sure Delight from 7.05pm.
