About this Event
Add some handmade beauty to your juletre!
Skinnfell is the Norwegian folk art of sewing printed sheepskins into bed covers, clothes, toys, and decorations. In this class, Heidi Eger will show you how to make skinnfell ornaments using contemporary stamp designs. Everyone will make a red heart and then choose from a dozen additional stamps for their next two ornaments. Even if you don’t complete all three ornaments during class, you will have the skills to take the remaining material home and complete them there.
Please bring a pair of sharp sewing scissors.
Instructor Heidi raises sheep and fell in love with Skinnfell as a way to honor her beautiful flock. She also teaches Lefse, Krumkake, and Fårikål classes at Norway House.
Please note: Norway House does not offer refunds. Please be certain that you have registered for the date and time that you want.
