Norwegian Short Film Night - Auckland

Show Me Shorts presents a collection of short films from top Norwegian filmmakers. Join us for a fun and thought provoking romp through playgrounds, planes, video games, sexual frustration, animal instincts, and the passion of a lone protester. This collection of films has been curated in collaboration with Minimalen Short Film Festival in Trondheim.

There are eight short films:

1. Adult Wasteland directed by Aleksander Johan Andreassen
2. Are You OK directed by Mattis Ohana Goksøyr
3. Motvind (Headwind) directed by Jon Vatne
4. Human Nature directed by Sverre Fredriksen
5. Pikselhjerte (Pixel Heart) directed by Gunhild Enger
6. Play Schengen directed by Gunhild Enger
7. The Affected directed by Rikke Gregersen
8. What is a Woman? directed by Marin Håskjold

This is an informal and fun event, and all are welcome. The screening takes place in the upstairs function room at The Kingslander. No allocated seating, so first in best dressed. The bar will be open with food and drink available for purchase.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, just your name and email confirmation is fine.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Kingslander is a very short walk from Kingsland train station. There is street parking available but make sure to allow time to find a park. Some of the parking on New North Road is pay and display.

Will there be door sales?

Previous events have sold out online before the night so it is recommended to pre-book. If online sales do not sell out there may be limited door sales. Door sales are cash only.
