A special opportunity for the Northrop Grumman workforce and their families to explore Crossroads and our local companion exhibition about the history of the Promontory facility.
Free admission, and activities for kids of all ages.
Crossroads: Change in Rural America is a traveling Smithsonian exhibition that provokes fresh thinking and sparks conversations about the future and sustainability of rural communities. At a time when much of rural Utah is reinventing itself, Crossroads takes a broad look at rural America and examines evolving landscapes and identities. Come find out how change has transformed rural America and how rural Americans are evolving for the future.
 Rural to Rockets: Box Elder County Takes Off is a local companion exhibit to Crossroads that explores the historic and ongoing impact of the aerospace industry in Brigham City and surrounding communities. Starting with explosive population growth in the late 1950s, the exhibit highlights the impact of the Promontory rocket facility on community, culture, and landscape. Visitors will learn about how local work went far beyond County limits, launching the United States into outer space.
Crossroads: Change in Rural America is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution, Utah Humanities, and Brigham City Museums.
