Let's gather to build community and train together to learn self-defense. Instructor Chris Flodstrom, the Owner and Head Instructor of Action Martial Arts in Mundelein, IL, brings decades of experience in various martial arts to empower you with the knowledge and skills to protect yourself.
Itinerary:
-Welcome from local advocate Bill Jarrett.
-Legal Considerations for Self-Defense: Understand the legal framework surrounding self-defense and when it's justifiable to use force.
-Situational Awareness: Develop heightened awareness of your surroundings to identify potential threats and avoid dangerous situations.
-Emotional Intelligence: Learn how to manage stress, fear, and other emotions in high-pressure situations.
-Basic Striking Techniques: Master fundamental striking techniques to defend yourself effectively.
-Ground Fighting Skills: Acquire essential ground defense skills to protect yourself in close-quarters situations.

Cost is usually $60/pp for this seminar. Holly Kim has subsidized with a sponsorship so the cost is low and not a barrier.
