Hurray, it's nearly spring! Whether you're 8 or 80 come along and show your love for our neighbourhood and come along to this year's Community Spring Clean. This year we're going for Saturday 20th September, which also happens to be UN Community Clean Up Day. Meet at Pukehuia Park at 10.30am to collect protective gear and rubbish bags, and then head out around our neighbourhood to collect what you can. You might like to head to somewhere you know is particularly rubbish-y around our suburb.
Bring your rubbish back to the park for a weigh-in and to be collected by the Council. Then celebrate your hard work and grab a free sausage or two off the BBQ.
Bring your friends and neighbours and join the fun and satisfaction of making our home a nicer place.
