We are delighted to welcome Northern Roots to play for us at People's Bookshop.
Northern Roots are Bill Elliott (of the legendary 'Elliott's of Birtley' family) on guitar and vocals, Kevin Youldon, guitar and mandolin, and Katherine Raine on fiddle.
In addition to mining and other songs from the North East, Northern Roots draw on a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary folk and roots music from the U.K., Ireland, and the U.S.A.
As always, doors open at 6.30, the show starts at 7pm and finishes at 9ish. Tickets are still just £5, which includes complimentary drinks and nibbles.
