Northern Home - Photography Exhibition (Open Event)

"Northern Home" is a photographic exploration of the Scottish highlands by Mark Piasecki. Bringing into focus the clear link between wilderness and mental health by presenting the photographs Mark captured while out in the hills and by talking about his personal journey with mental health.

The highlands should be a place that all can enjoy and with that in mind Mark is using his photography as a means of helping others not just with their mental health but by encouraging others to head to the outdoors and providing information on how to do it as well.

The photographs featured are all part of a series of ultra-high resolution panoramas captured over the course of years with results that when printed will leave a lasting impression. Some taken in more remote places in extreme conditions with others simply by the side of the road, the point being to highlight that no matter your level of experience being in the highlands can be a wonder.
