Big Bandemic Presents: Big Band is Back In The Mood! is a complete night out inspired by the great swing dances of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.
Featuring a 17-piece big band, two crooners, and a collaborative string orchestra made up of musicians from Southwestern Ontario and Algoma, audiences are encouraged to dust off their vintage attire, put on their dancing shoes, and become part of the experience. Enjoy the music of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, and Artie Shaw while singing along to classics made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Michael Bublé.
With an open dance floor and an atmosphere reminiscent of a classic dance hall, this promises to be an unforgettable evening celebrating the golden age of big band music!
