AANA is thrilled to announce the Northern California Alphorn Festival at the Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific.
Join faculty Sadie Glass (Horn and Alphorn), Dr. Natalie Grana (Alphorn and Solfège), and Stasia Siena (Alexander Technique) for the First Annual Northern California Alphorn Festival— This inaugural festival will bring together players, enthusiasts, and curious newcomers for performances, hands-on demonstrations, and educational sessions designed to showcase the beauty and versatility of the alphorn.
Whether you’re an experienced player or simply interested in trying something new, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty, participate in group playing sessions, and connect with others who share a passion for this iconic instrument. Dormitory rooms will be available as well as a limited number of student tickets.
