Northeastern Conference on British Studies

Welcome to the 2024 Northeastern Conference on British Studies! This is an in-person conference that has limited hybrid opportunities with over 95% of participants participating in-person. Jennifer Regan-Lefevre, our local organizer at Trinity College, will be sharing the draft programme, registration links, and other details a little bit later in July.

In the meantime, here's what you may need to know.The programme will begin late in the afternoon on Friday September 27. We'll have sessions all day Saturday September 28 concluding with an evening reception on Saturday night.

We have reserved a block of rooms at Residence Inn Hartford Downtown Hartford. We have booked a special rate at $209 per night. These are first-come, first lodged and the Last Day to Book is Tuesday August 27, 2024.

We also have a public Facebook group (search Northeast Conference of British Studies), which we encourage you to use to find either roommates or carpools.
