About this Event

Join us for an inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and connection at the 2026 Youth Summit! This event brings together youth-serving professionals, educators, workforce partners, justice-system staff, community organizations, and leaders from across the region to explore innovative ways to better support young people.

We're excited to kick off the day with Caprice Jones, Founder and Executive Director of The Fountain of Youth Program in Dubuque. Through his powerful personal story, Caprice will share how overcoming adversity inspired him to create a movement dedicated to changing mindsets, breaking cycles of generational poverty, and restoring hope through education, mentorship, and community collaboration. His message is one of resilience, purpose, and the transformative impact that caring adults can have on the lives of young people.

The day will also feature:

• A youth panel, where young people will share firsthand perspectives on what helps them feel connected, engaged, and supported.
• A mental health session focused on understanding today's challenges facing youth and practical strategies for professionals to respond.
• Interactive breakout sessions, community resources, networking opportunities, and vendor exhibits designed to equip attendees with new ideas and meaningful connections.

And of course, enjoy a delicious complimentary lunch catered by The Landmark Bistro while connecting with colleagues from across the region.
