The 2026 season kicks off under lights as Northcote Park Football Club take on Fitzroy Stars Football Club in a huge Round 1 clash.
Northcote Park enter the new season determined to build on a strong 2025 campaign that saw the Cougars reach finals. The group will be looking to take the next step in 2026. What better way to begin than Round 1 under lights in front of the home crowd.
Fitzroy Stars arrive in Division 2 after earning promotion from Division 3 and will be eager to make an immediate impact when they face the Cougars in the season opener.
Both clubs have added talent over the offseason and will be looking to play an exciting, fast paced brand of footy, setting the stage for a thrilling contest for everyone who comes down.
Bring the family along for a family friendly night at the footy. Bar & canteen will be open from 4pm-midnight. Get around the club and help pack the hill as we launch into the 2026 season 💛💚
